Orthodontics is a unique opportunity to have a positive influence on adolescents during a very influential time in their life. It is really fun to develop friendships with these young people. Due to its esthetic nature, it provides the opportunity to affect a positive change in their self confidence and provide a smile that they are pleased show others. It is truly a blessing to have an opportunity to affect others in such a way.
I am current on all of the most recent technological and scientific advancements in the industry, including the use of temporary anchorage devices which enable orthodontic movements that were previously very difficult or impossible. I am originally from Pocahontas, Arkansas, but have grown to love Mississippi! My husband, Wynne, grew up in Clarksdale, Mississippi. We have twin girls, Wynsley and Westyn, and two dogs (a British Labrador Retriever named Drake and a Jack Russell Terrier named George). I enjoy spending time with my family, running half marathons, yoga, Pilates, weight lifting, water and snow skiing, playing the piano, and outdoor activities. I also love to watch football, and I am a big Ole Miss fan!
